Colin McMillian is May Meeting Keynote Speaker

We are pleased to announce that Colin McMillan (PhD) of the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) will be the Keynote Speaker for CARD’s 6th Annual Spring Industry Advisory Board Meeting on May 19th at 4:15 PM.
Dr. McMillan is a senior analyst in the Washington, D.C. office of NREL’s Strategic Energy Analysis Center. His research aims to quantify and understand energy and material use in economies. His primary focus is improving data and methods used for modeling the industrial sector, particularly within energy system models. Dr. McMillan’s most recent research has involved detailing industrial process heat demand at greater spatial, temporal, and operational resolutions, and evaluating the potential for alternative heat technologies, including solar thermal and electric technologies.
