CARD Hosts AI Symposium – May 28, 2025
The Center for Advanced Research in Drying (CARD) is hosting an AI symposium on May 28, 2025 from 10:30 to 3:30. The symposium will explore how artificial intelligence transforms complex systems, drives sustainable innovation, and revolutionizes decision-making. Experts from academia and industry will discuss breakthroughs in AI-powered process optimization, generative design, and interdisciplinary applications across manufacturing, food production, and agriculture.
Featured Speakers will include:
• Dr. Lav Varshney (UIUC): AI’s impact from core algorithms to real-world applications, including AI-driven manufacturing, food innovation, and sustainable materials.
• Dr. Corey Adams (NVIDIA): NVIDIA Modulus and its role in scientific AI applications like climate modeling and digital twins.
• Dr. Vikram Adve (UIUC): AI-driven agricultural innovations through AIFARMS, focusing on robotics, livestock management, and generative AI.
