Dr. Kamruzzaman Receives Faculty Research Award
We are delighted to share that CARD faculty member, Dr. Mohammed Kamruzzaman, received the 2025 Agricultural & Biological Engineering (ABE) Faculty Research Excellence Award. Dr. Kamruzzaman’s research has focused on making sophisticated sensing technology more accessible, including the development of deep learning-based hyperspectral imaging and pioneering organic nanozyme-based biosensing for detecting food and agricultural contaminants and the development of smart drying systems that integrate NIR sensors and HSI cameras to enable real-time monitoring and control of drying processes.
Dr. Kamruzzaman is an assistant professor in ABE at the University of Illinois.
