CARD Researchers Present at EuroDrying 2023

CARD researcher and WPI student, Jacob Bouchard, along with his advisor, Dr. Douglas Petkie, were invited to present at the EuroDrying 2023 conference held in Łódź, Poland earlier this month.
The title of their work was “Investigation of Effective Medium Theories in the Far Infrared for Pulp and Paper Applications.”
CARD founding director, Dr. Jamal Yagoobi, was invited to give the keynote presentation at the same conference. The title of his presentation was on “Decarbonizing Industrial Drying – The Role of Academic Institutions.”
