Valerie Wang Successfully Defends Master Thesis
We are delighted to share that Chenxin (Valerie) Wang, a master’s student from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), advised by Dr. Yi-Cheng Wang, has successfully defended her master’s thesis titled “Potential Energy-Saving and Quality Benefits of Plasma Pretreatment: A Case Study of Blueberry Drying.” Her research focused on applying plasma to enhance blueberry drying, evaluating its quality post-drying, and studying the potential mechanisms of plasma-enhanced drying.
After graduating from UIUC, Valerie will pursue her PhD studies at Rutgers University, focusing on food chemistry.
