Real-Time Particle Visualization and Characterization in Spray Dryers > <

Overview

This project is dedicated to enhancing the functionality of spray dryers through the development of a real-time machine vision system that characterizes, visualizes, and tracks particles. These methods will capture and analyze the dynamics of particles within various environments, providing immediate feedback essential for process optimization and control. The overarching goal is to optimize spray drying and spray coating processes in the food, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries, improve quality control, and reduce waste and energy consumption.
